Dancing in woodlands and the edges of bùrns (rivers) are merry folds of dock leaves swaying in the breeze of our little Angus microclimate. They are a plant cherished by many Scots as they are a sworn antidote to a painful nettle sting. From my own childhood I remember frantically trying to find one of these leaves to alleviate the stings gotten whilst running wild outside. Once carefully snipped at the stems, I sorted each dock leaf in my home studio for the most beautiful patterns on the large leaves for spots of amber, crimson and browns. Once pressed, I preserved these enchanting jewel tones into tiny 5mm sterling silver stud posts - perfect for carrying a discreet little piece of Scottish nature with you on your travels.
These tiny dock leaf earrings come beautifully presented in my luxury branded packaging with accompanying botanical information card about this Scottish medicinal plant, 20% discount on your next order and a luxury branded gift bag. Perfect for gift giving or a special treat for yourself.
